For 's contest. You were supposed to create a pokemans "fossil evolution" of a pre-existing pokemans.
I went with an "ancient civilization ruins" theme, instead of the rather obvious dinosaur approach. I am such a lawbreaker I am telling you

Symblardian is based off of Native American totem poles, which usually involve stacked wooden figures and faces, as well as wing motifs and colorful paints. Sorry his wing is slightly chopped off. It was a small piece of paper. Don't hate.

Evolves by holding the Rune Fossil and leveling up to level 40
Yoohefoh, continuing the evolution chain's trend of spelling out initials, is based off of a UFO. I kind of had the idea that, since his pre-evolutions looked like pieces of stone, maybe there's this UFO crashed underground or something...I dunno. He's based off of Stonehenge and the Easter Island rocks, which were both created by ancient civilizations for unknown purposes....i.e, aliens. Obviously.
